STEFANO MAZZONE

The warm blood of Sicily flows through Stefano Mazzone's veins – a heritage that merges with the tenacity of the Treviso area, giving life to a volcano of passion for cooking. Already at the time of Master Gualtiero Marchesi, after the blink of an eye, Mazzone found himself managing men and flavours, learning the art of transforming simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces. His experience was then enriched by the "Teutonic" but cheerful discipline of Heinz Beck, which increased his dynamism and his communication skills, both in and out the kitchen. Italian experiences, particularly Sicilian, led him back to his roots, before arriving in Capri in 2007.

The blue island became his canvas, where Mazzone was able to paint his culinary philosophy with flair.

No unnecessary frills, just concreteness and unbridled pursuit. Each dish is a work of art, the result of impeccable cooking, which enhances the pure taste of the ingredients, preserves their tantalising aromas and presents them in a symphony of colours. His cuisine is not made to astonish at all costs, but to give real emotions. A hymn to Italian tradition, often mistreated in favour of passing trends.
